BOY BURMA

The past few hours have certainly been nothing but a roller coaster full of emotion.  Sometimes it’s hard to comprehend that something like this could ever happen to the Calgary Flames and Jarome Iginla fans out there.  A splash this big in the news that made me weeps tears of happiness and sadness.  Iggy has been the burning Flame for the city and organization for the past 16 years and now he’s finally off to Pittsburgh to try to win something that he doesn’t have yet, which is a Stanley Cup.  From the bottom of my heart, go win Jarome!

I normally don’t talk much about my personal life on the Boy Burma blog but today I wanted to express my happiness, gratitude and appreciation.  Today, on March 18th I celebrate my 29th birthday (whether a good thing or a bad thing).  I have always been told and thought that age is deemed as just a number, how it shouldn’t matter and the only thing that should matter is how you feel inside and so on.  With time seemingly passing by it allows me to continue to reflect back on my memories.  Lately I’ve been trying to re-live those day when I was 18 or even 25, maybe I’m over thinking it (actually I know I am) but I did come to realize is that with age comes maturity, strength and I truly am happy with how things are working out for myself and for Boy Burma.  With that being said, I hope you all one day are able to find something you love to do.  When you have the right people supporting you and the right mentality, you’re bound to be happy and be successful.  My gratitude and appreciate will always run deep – Thank you~!
