]]> http://www.boyburma.com/iggy-gone/feed/ 0 29 … http://www.boyburma.com/29/ http://www.boyburma.com/29/#comments Mon, 18 Mar 2013 10:53:57 +0000 Boy Burma http://www.boyburma.com/?p=933 I normally don’t talk much about my personal life on the Boy Burma blog but today I wanted to express my happiness, gratitude and appreciation.  Today, on March 18th I celebrate my 29th birthday (whether a good thing or a bad thing).  I have always been told and thought that age is deemed as just a number, how it shouldn’t matter and the only thing that should matter is how you feel inside and so on.  With time seemingly passing by it allows me to continue to reflect back on my memories.  Lately I’ve been trying to re-live those day when I was 18 or even 25, maybe I’m over thinking it (actually I know I am) but I did come to realize is that with age comes maturity, strength and I truly am happy with how things are working out for myself and for Boy Burma.  With that being said, I hope you all one day are able to find something you love to do.  When you have the right people supporting you and the right mentality, you’re bound to be happy and be successful.  My gratitude and appreciate will always run deep – Thank you~!

]]> http://www.boyburma.com/happy-holidays/feed/ 0 Japan … http://www.boyburma.com/japan/ http://www.boyburma.com/japan/#comments Mon, 03 Dec 2012 21:00:06 +0000 Boy Burma http://www.boyburma.com/?p=597  Last week I had the great opportunity to travel with 10 of my closest friends to Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.  The first time I went there was when I was in grade 6, in which I don’t remember much about so I wanted to make best of this opportunity and indulge in the experience.  We spent 5 days in Tokyo, 2 days in Kyoto and 3 days in Osaka.  Our mission was to venture and explore the traditional and modern looks of each city, indulge in a variety of japanese cuisines and of course, shopped a bunch.  I was extremely overwhelmed with the amount of people in Tokyo (especially the infamous Shibuya crosswalk).  The mass amounts of people dawning winter jackets, scarves and gloves while we all wandered around in shorts and t-shirts haha.  We defintely didn’t have enough time to see everything we wanted too, but I guess that’ll make going back some other time a lot easier!  A big thanks for our Japanese pals, Mark and John who took us around, translated for us, introduced us to their family/friends and provided us with a real Japanese experience.  Below are some pics from the trip -
